1995 Sunfire Computer Recall?

I own a 1995 Pontiac Sunfire and it has worked well for me for the
year that I’ve had it (besides the transmission has been recently
rebuilt, but now that’s working perfectly). Lately, however, the while
driving the car, I’ve noticed that the odometer and the spedometer and
all other power cuts out and the lights come on for the brake, ABS,
seatbelt, engine, and even a random flashing light that resembles the
bright signal (but isn’t, I didn’t even know it was there until it
began flashing a couple weeks back). My uncle took it in to plug it
into a computer but it didn’t read anything wrong with it. He told me
that the only thing that he could think of was the computer. He also
told me that there was a recall for computers in Sunfires from 1995
and years around there. I called a dealership to see what I could do
about it and they told me that there was no such recall. I’m
wondering, who’s right? I’ve found all over on-line that there was a
recall for them but I don’t know who to contact about getting a new
one. HELP!

If you can document such a recall that affects your car, and the dealer
denies this, call the Pontiac zone office in your area and drop it in their
lap.
