Grand Prix..Key less Entry

I have a 2006 Grand Prix...It has the remote keyless Entry--Remote
controls....For the past several months now i have noticed when i push
down on the remote conrol  buttons nothing happens--Unless i push hard
on the buttons--I changed the batteries but it did not help....What
might it be....Thanks for your help....Gary

Sounds like the button contacts are either dirty or broken.
Take it apart and check, clean, fix, etc.

It could also be a worn out battery in the remote. try replacing that first.
You may need to retrrain the system to use it after it is replaced
