Hi, I really like the GM Ecotec 2.2L and 2.4L engines. I am driving a '07
Saturn ION and really like the G5/G6 especially the interior. The fit and
finish on the ION is terrible. I am thinking of trading in for a '08
Pontiac. What have been your experiences with this car?

I have a 08 G6 that we bought in July and absolutley love it ,, it
handles fantastic on the highway , you wouldn't think once you got on the
highway that you were driving a 4 cyl.

It's a little stiff on the road ,you feel the bumps a bit more than a
Chevy or Buick but it handles great , hugs corners like you wouldn't
believe.

Ours is pretty loaded , everything but leather seating and heated seats
,, not sure if that was an option or just something that i wished i had
for the upcoming winter months. LOL

I looked at the Ion and the new Malibu , i didn't look long at the Saturn
though , it was a toss up between the Malibu and G6 , one of the deciding
factors was the factory offers at the time , but i liked the sportyness
of the G6 to the Malibu , the only thing i wish the G had that the Malibu
has is the softer "floating" ride , and is a little quieter in the cabin.
But both had the 4 cyl and it really surprised me in both the guts that
it had.

Hope you like the G if you go for it ,, we do.
