I'm hoping someone can help me out there, I have a 1991 Grand Am 2.5 liter
engine. After driving car for about 5 minutes or so and turn off the engine
it doesn't want to start. after turning the key on and off a few times it
will start but today it wouldn't start until it cooled right down again. It
didn't seem to have any spark or fuel to the engine. once cooled down it
started right up but with the engine light on. I'm thinking maybe a computer
prob?? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Dwayne

First thing to determine is whether it will start spraying starting fluid
into the intake, and/or checking for spark at the plugs, if it starts it is
a fuel related issue, if not it is ign related, from there the real
diagnostics can start.
