Bonneville 1994 Voltage drop

I drive with a colleague to work every day and the following happens:
when it is wet wheather especially (rain, snow), and
when he brakes to take a corner
the voltage will drop from 14V to about 10 (enters the low limit). The car
will then often stall. Shifting to neutral and adding gas to get the rpm up
then seems to help to get the voltage back up.

A few days ago (cold -8°F, snow) the car did the same thing when driving 25
mph through town. When getting out of town at 50 mph it seemed to get
better.

The alternator has already been changed.

Any ideas what could be the problem? Has somebody had the same problem?

Have the battery and alternator tested.  Just because it's new, doesn't mean
it's not broken.  Also, clean the wires and terminals on the battery, and
alternator.  And, don't zap yourself.

And make sure the belt tension is right and the belt is good -
serentines can slip.

I'd make sure the battery is fastened down and not making contact with
the hood.  Check the batteries ground wire making sure it's grounded
properly.  I had a car once that had a cracked coil and it was bypassing
and still running but not well.  Voltage regulator?
