I'm from Denmark and planning to buy my first Porsche ever... so
actually I have a question about what 911 I should go for? I have some
important things in mind:
1. Low budget; 8-10k dollars
2. It should be a classic best pre 70 be course of a special low
"classic car" tax on pre 1970 model (very high on after70, 180% vat on
the listprice)
3. Perhaps it should be a 912 so I later on could change the engine to
a six...
4 Not a targa model! I just love the coupe type...
About 3. I think I prefer a 6cyl be course of that I really like to
speed ;-) and I properly guess it would be expensive and difficult to
go from a 4 cyl to a 6 cyl...
Hope you can give me some input! Thanks in advance!

Is a Danisch site :) it isn't updated for 3 years and he doesn't answers
any email but information is very significant.
You are right, don't change the engine from 4 to 6 keep it original. Have it
checked properly (pre-purchace-check).
Good luck

LH, thanks for your input!
I have to mention that I had in mind buing the car in us. or another
country i.e. germany - belgium... And then afterwards pay the tax vat
and so in denmark.
But in what country is the "cheapest" pre 72 porsche 911 available?
And where can I find a good priceguide for these possible countrys?
best
