    I can guess - the '74 911 is considered the least problematic of
the 2.7L impact bumper cars in the US. Lighter and didn't have the
smog pump, I think.

74 is the NEWEST the mexcian gov. will let me import to mexico and be able
to sell if need be.  I understand now that the 2.7 engine is the worst of
all though.. so, well see what i can find...

Even though the 2.7 was the worse engine Porsche ever made, by now most of
these engines have been repaired.
