Hi,

Today I went to guy who's selling his 1991 porsche carrera 2.
He told me that changing the spark plugs is a moter in - moter out job.
Can someone confirm this?

Something special about this type I have to watch close before buying this
great car?

I think it's probably easier to replace the plugs w/motor out, but it's
a chore to pull it.  It's possible to change the plugs w/the motor in
the car, but it's more labor for that.  11 plugs are fairly easy on my
car, but the 12th is a bastard.

The 91 isn't regarded as the ideal model, but because of that, you may
get a great deal on a car.  The things to watch for are the possible
leaky heads (fixed or checked), dual-mass fly wheel (upgraded to a Luk),
distributor vent upgrade (done), and general care and records.  Get a
full inspection from a qualified Porsche mechanic.  It's worth the
bucks.  Hope I didn't miss anything.  Someone else pipe up if'n I forgot
sumpin'.  Regards.
