Hope someone can help me figure this out.  Had a dead battery, changed it.
At first when I turned on my radio "code" was displayed and me trying to
remember from two yrs prior tried some numbers, of course they didn't
work.  Ever since then, I can't get "code" to come back up.  I've
disconnected the battery twice.  Checked the fuse.  Nothing.  The radio
display lights up, can hear the speaker crackle momentarily, but I can't
get the word "code" to display so I can put in the correct code.  I've
tried inputting code without word "code" coming up but no go.  Appreciate
any help.  TIA

pull out radio and get the serial number...then get your vin number...then go
to porsche dealer...provided it is originial radio installed, they can give
you the code...i believe you can make only three attempts to re-code the radio
before the above process is programmed to be necessary.

Thanks for the reply euro, but I have the code.  I just cannot get the word
"code" to come up on the radio so I can put in the code.  Is your process
still necessary?  Thanks again, appreciate your help!

Leave the radio on for at least an hour.  The word code will reappear.
Porsche used a similar security system for the CD-1 radio.

1) hold the button bellow the eject button for 5 second.then code will
appear again.

2)ENTER YOUR CODE.
