Sure. It depends mainly on how many miles you'll drive her and how hard
you drive. What year is it? Have the upgrades been done to this 964?
They should've been. If all is well, you should spend $6-1200 a year on
tires, oil, tune-up supplies and odd bits. It's generally cheaper if
you do the work yourself. That is, if you know what you're doing.

In 40 years of owing Porsche (356, 912, 2 911's) I wouldn't have any
other 'performance' car in my garage. Nothing else gives me the pride
of ownership, and that has nothing to do with snobbishness. I currently
drive a WRX Subaru, but only because I just can't afford the Porsche
mark any longer; I'm NOT a mechanic.
But, the old addage is true here,
"If you have to ask, you can't afford it"!

I'm with the Senator. My 911SC costs ~$1000/year to maintain,
though like most Porschephiles I spend more on upgrades and other toys
for the cars. My 944 costs less (parts are cheaper, used parts
incredibly plentiful). I haven't had the 928 long enough to judge. On
2 months, it's cost me $25 plus gas.
