I need some opinions. Would u buy a used Turbo with 13K miles or a brand
new 2005 Carrera S ?? For the same amount of money?
Depends on how and where you are driving:
Want/need the all wheel drive of the turbo?
Want/need the extra power of the turbo?
Otherwise...overall maintenance on the new 997 should be a bit less in the
long run, plus it has the latest technology and styling. Speaking of
styling: which one strikes your eye as looking best?
No matter how you look at it...it's a "tough" decision, but one many of us
would love to be faced with.
Good luck...and let us know your ultimate decision.

Thanks, Weekend Guru.
I think the Turbo styling is unmistakable and most seductive. I
definitely crave the power (who doesn't). And I was told perhaps the
Turbo will hold its value better than the Carrera S over the next few
years.

I'm confused... the Carr S is a rear wheel drive Carr with the sport
package, not the Carr 4 S which is the all wheel drive Carr with the sport
package?

The new 2005 Carrera S has a bigger 3.8 L engine with 355 hp and rear wheel
drive.
The C4S has the regular Carrera engine with all-wheel drive and a
Turbo-like body.
