Anyone know what the color is that Porsche paints on the late model
wheels (96<).  Probably the same color used for all their painted
wheels, I suspect.  Want to get some touch-up paint.

Someone thought it was Arctic Silver?

I inquired at the dealer re. paint for a couple of chips on my wheels
(2002 Carrera) and was told it's definitely NOT Arctic Silver. Porsche
doesn't make a touch up paint for the wheels and the dealer said folks
who've tried Arctic Silver wished they hadn't......

A good body shop might be able to come pretty close to a match,
particularly if they are a Porsche warranty shop.

I hadn't thought to call the sdealer. . . Just like Porsche to not offer
touchup paint for their painted wheels...why give the customer the tools
to do some of their own work when you can fill your shop with piddly
stuff like this (at $100/hr).

It's not necessarily the dealer. There's a body shop a mile away from my
dealer that does warranty paint work for Porsche.
