I'd change the oil ,the oil filter and the spark plugs today.I'd put about
10 q's of penzoil 10/40.
after that . I'd started the engine and I'd notice alot of smoke caming
from the mufler.I'd stop the engine and check oil levels. I'd put too many
q's. so after I'd fixed the oil level the engine still smoking.What happen
?

Was it running rough before the plugs were changed?

you probably have oil in the muffler - run it for a while and it will clean
itself

My thinking was a fouled plug because of bad valve seals or rings on a given
cylinder, suddenly being able to fire the cylinder, will cause it to smoke
as well. The plug being fouled before the change hid the situation, after
changing plugs now it appears.
If the plugs were all clean, I can accept the overflow into muffler too.
