I have a 1995 porsche 911 with a radio model..CR-1. I entered the
radio code improperly twice and now only get a blank display when I
turn on the radio. Is there a way I can reactivate the radio and enter
the correct code which  I now have. The only answers I have been
getting from porsche is I must go to dealer..thanks in advance for
help

I have a 2002 Carrera with the CDR-220 radio, and after entering the wrong
code three times the unit is disabled for about 60 minutes. The radio and
ignition must remain switched on for this 60 minute waiting period, then the
code can be tried again. Your system may be similar.

If you go to

www.rennlist.com

they have forums devoted to specific Porsche models and issues - you can
almost certainly find someone there with your system who knows the
definitive answer to your question.
