Someone T-boned my C2; paint advice needed

It's a Guards red C2 hard-top.  It was hit in the driver's door and front
fender.

The paint was already fading due to age.  Is it reasonable to claim that a
complete paint job is necessary?  What is reasonable to claim?

Thanks in advance -

- Scott

What's probably reasonable is that they put you in the position you were in
before the accident, ie., they repair and paint the damaged sections. Since
these probably won't match your older, faded paint you probably should have
the whole car done but they should really only pay for the sections they
damaged. IMO, YMMV.
