brake light problem

My brake light works but it only lights when the pedal is pressed to the floor. When I press lightly it does not light.Is there a ajustment.. and were is it.Took the floor under the pedals out but did not find any ajustment.

what year is your 911? Since sometime in the mid-seventies, the brakelight
switch(es) have been mounted on the master cylinder. The need for increased
pedal pressure to light the lights is generally  a sign that the switches
need to be replaced. There is no adjustment as they are hydraulically
actuated. Early cars had the mechanical switches mounted at the pedal
cluster.
