Help,
Yesterday I was diving along fine and then starting up at a green light I
was only able to shift into 5th grear. Does any one now what the problem
is and how it can be fixed? I am not able to shift in reverse either.

Thanks, Bobbis

the shift rod has slipped and no longer is able to "throw" the transaxel into
the desired gear....access through the tunnel plate with 4 screws behind
front seats...may or maynot need new bushings on the visible joint.

There are several linkage parts that wear or fail.
#1) Cup on the enf of your shifter.
#2) The universal coupling in the tunnel under the plate between the
seats.
Your clutch may need bleeding (could have air in the line).
