Hi,

Is there any way to turn this noise off ( apart from the obvious of
strapping myself in)??

I normally do, I just object to some anonymous seatbelt Nazi telling me I
have to.
Even BMW weren't this anal in my M3.

I'm guessing you could get at the contacts in the seatbelt clasp
itself...  I know in my '86 I could get at it easily enough.
