My new / used 993 ...just bought her yesterday... )-:
Was driving and all at once  the " Central Warning Light" also ABD and
Antilock light came on.
Stopped the car and restarted... lights go OFF.  5 KM later same... this
lights stayed on.
Stopped again to buy some flowers to appease the wife... 10 minutes...start
again NO lights.
Parked for 5 hours... started her to move to garage Lights ON again.
Help anyone !!!  Thanks  1995 993 C2

I believe your car had OBD II - certainly the 96 and later does (I have a
97) - if it has OBD II, get a reader and read out the fault codes, that will
give you a clue.  The pre OBD II cars used OBD I but it's much more
poprietary.  The air injection valve is one thing that goes bad and can
cause this but I don't know for sure if your car is the same as mine.  You
would benefit by locating, and reading the shop manual and in particular the
OBD diagnostic section.  many auto parts stores will lend you an OBD II
reader

Thanks Will... 1995 has OBD I I'll have get it tested.
? But what does the Air Injectin Valve have to with the ABD Automatic Brake
Differential ?

nothing - nothing at all - but when things go weird.....

I've had the light come on for a crushed O2 sensor, a bad air injection
valve, and one other thing - I forget now.  You could also be having voltage
problems caused by a loose alternator belt (I had symptoms like that when my
belt was failing).

by the way, I have a spare OBD II reader (INOVA) which I would like to
sell - it that might interst you, chase down my email from my web site
(www.wbnoble.com ) - I don't use a valid email on newsgroup postings as a
way of reducing spam.
