I wrote a little while back that my rev-counter stopped working - I removed the steering wheel and cowling and check the connections at back - all seemed OK. Just got the car back on the road and now the tacho's come back to life at idle speed - but once the revs go over 1100 rpm the needle drops down towards 0 - it never reads above abotu 1200 rpm! Any ideas? All he did was suggest that the instruments are easily pried out from the front. There was no need to remove any parts of the dash or steering wheel. I would look for any loose wires or connections, especially ground wires. |
