About 6 months ago I cut the defrost on,  and fire just died.  Would not
fire after that and have had parked since then.  Any ideas?  Thanks,  Bob

What if anything have you checked so far. Really need more information
to attempt to help. I would first, not assume it was the defrost,
check the circuit however work your way back. Check the basics, got
spark? Got fuel? Got air? Check these be thorough, and let us know
what you find.

ok, help me out here - "cut the defrost on" - does that mean you
pressed the defrost button that engages the AC and the high speed fan
and the heat, or you pressed the rear window defrost?

"fire just died" - ignition stopped? no spark?  tested how?  cranking
speed normal?  did you check for fuel in the rail?  confirm DME relay
OK? - there is a feed from the AC clutch to the DME that tells it to
speed up the idle when AC is on, but I don't see how that could cause
your problem.  As others have suggested, report what exact steps you
have taken so far to localize

Thanks for your questions, sorry been out of town.  I hit the defrost button
for the front window,  and the car just died.  It turned over fine,  has/had
plenty of gas,  but after that wouldn't fire,  .  Was a block away from my
house,  pushed it back and car has set since.  I have taken no steps to try
and fix yet, thought it may be expensive and haven't had the disposable cash
if it is.  Putting charge on battery now.  Will try to explore what I can,
but don't know much.  Seemed to turn over at same speed as always,  just
would not start.  Car is overall in fantastic shape,  motor strong and
clean,  oil pressure great.  Will see what I can define for you within the
next week,  again thanks!
