944 1987 I have removed the instrument panel and I think located the bulb holders, three of them.. But how do I remove the holders from the panel to get at the bulbs? Do you pull or twist? Alec Re my previous post I have found out that you turn the white holder through 90 degrees, it then comes out easily. My bulb had not failed the problem was a damaged flexible printed circuit, probably from when someone has previously had the panel out. You must be very careful with the panel to avoid damaging the flexible printed circuit. I repaired it by soldering in a short piece of wire and covering the repaired area with tape.
