Apart from the central locking switch's red light they aren't illuminated
which is a bit irritating but you eventually get used to it ;-)
I've wired up a couple of LEDs (taking feed from the ashtray lamp) & put
them in the cubby hole below the radio so they cast a dim glow over those
switches. It's not ideal but it helps avoid opening the sunroof in the rain
when I want to use the rear wiper. Difficult to position them to illuminate
the switch area without being directly in my line of sight though.

Thanks for that very useful information I will not waste my time trying to fix them.
However I now discover that I have an ashtray light so I will have to fix that!

New bulb fitted and all now OK.
I am surprised that the row of switches in front of the gear shift is not illuminated as all the other switches on the dash are.
Thanks for that very useful information I will not waste my time trying to fix them.
However I now discover that I have an ashtray light so I will have to fix that!
