My S2's oil light is on and the car battles to start. When it does, one
of the belts is squealing. I had all of the belts replaced less than
1,500km ago. The oil level is fine. The car has 170,000km on the clock.
Where do I start?

When it starts what is the oil pressure?

Pressure is normal. 3 to 3.5 going up to 5 when rev'd.

Here is an update:

Car is now starting and oil light is off. (Oil light on left of gauges
- Is this temp?). The belt now only squeals if I switch on lights,
demister, etc all at once. Oil pressure is constantly at 5 bars (idle
only - have not driven again). Does this sound like an alternator
problem?

alternator belt is loose - tighten it
