Hi All,

Firstly - a very happy New Year to everyone !

Secondly - I recently had the timing and balance belts, rollers etc done on
my late 85 944 Lux. Now, on start-up, there is a distinct whine from the
front of the engine, which gets less noticeable once motor is fully warmed
up.

Is the timing belt too tight ??

Any help much appreciated. Cheers.

Myles

It's quite normal for new belts to whine for a while, it will stop when the
edges wear off a bit.
Regards,
Martin
