I need a good repair manual for my 1986 944 turbo. I bought the Haynes
manual and it is not detailed enough and I would like ore depth of coverage
of the vehicle. There seems to be a ton of stuff for the 911 models but not
much for the 944. Anyone have any links or info.

check out http://www.clarks-garage.com/ section "working on your 944"
the most concise are the workshop manuals actually produced by Porsche:

most of us either acquire a hard copy or download the factory service manual
from the web - you will find the factory manual will meet most your needs

Try the following site: You can download all of the original workshop
manuals and all the porsche parts catalogs for free.
http://www.cannell.co.uk/Manuals.htm
I do of course add this caviat: There are probably serious breach of
copyright issues here so I am obviously making you aware of what this
site is offering and not of course endorsing breaking the law.
You need a decent connection speed though. Half a gig takes a while!!
