Hi Bill, that sounds like quite a bummer. Was it a mechanical problem
or a driver error?
I know of a 944S (on the east coast, and red, so it doesn't meet two
of your criteria) that's on ebay. It's not running, but looks like a
nice clean car. With your knowledge, I'm sure you could get it
running quickly.
Good luck with your search!
usually, ending up in a ravine MUST be driver error, but for the life of me,
I don't know what I did - if I had been going fast, then well, "fine", but I
wasn't.
I have decided that I don't want another S - too unusual, not enough
benefit, but I'm looking at some Turbos for her and even a 968 - but what I
need, in addition to a car, is some folks who would like these parts.....

Well, at least you're OK. That's what counts. I can't help you out
with unloading the parts... I really have too much of everything
already (I've had two parts cars -- one I wrecked (driver error while
going too fast) and one I bought (no driver error -- it was t-boned
while sitting still at a light)).
But, perhaps you can post some of the parts on Rennlist. At the very
least, you'll get lots of exposure to people all over the country who
might be looking for things.
Good luck!

I've started parting the car out now, some parts are up on e-bay, links
below - I'd really like to find someone who wants the shell - car is
beautiful (except for the damaged front), recent paint job, will need a
drivers door and front fender, and all the sheet metal in front, hood is
damaged, might be repairable -
And I have this nice 16V engine....anyone need an S engine?
