I already removed the injectors, now I just need to clean them.
I found this article on cleaning fuel injectors on 944. Anyone have any
tips or think this article would be good to follow?

for what it's worth, I clean injectors with carb cleaner - fill up, depress
the little pin with your thumb nail and let the cleaner flow out - repeat a
bunch of times until you think it's clean - put new o-rings and shield on
and reinstall

I had same experience on all cars that were driven regularly, but on an 83
that had sat for 6 or 7 years, the fuel had gotten pretty gummy in the
injectors and cleaning was needed.
