rear window + rear speaker : two jobs in one?

i need to replace the rear window - this looks to me like part of the
rear speaker replacement job, and should save some time if done at
once - am i right?

yes - its much easier to do the job right if you remove the window and the
panel - pre 87 you have to do some cutting of metal to fit decent sized
speakers - if you want to stick with the little speakers, you can reach in
wihtout actually removing the window and do hte job - it sounds much better
if you put in 5 inch round or 6X9 (just not too deep) - I use a wood or MDF
backing plate for the speakers
