My husband just passed away and I have his cherished 1986 944T to shepherd to a new home.  I have no idea as to the value.  It is immaculate (his baby).  Can you give me an idea?  It is a CA car.  Thanks.

Go to http://www.rennlist.com/ they have many helpful people and also have a
forsale section.  There is a 944 mail list and a 951 mail list.  The 944
turbi is also know as a 951.  My guess not knowing any more about the car is
$8000-10000.

It's very difficult to put a value on a Classic Porsche, I have an
immaculate 86 944 Turbo and paid ?5500 for it (About $8500)
This was considered to be cheap, the problem is finding the right person who
will appreciate the care and attention that the car has had and is willing
to continue to do so.

Check on Ebay for a good idea of values for 86 turbos.  They can go anywhere from about $6K to $15K depending on condition, mileage, accessories, recent work, etc.
