What is recommended brake fluid to use in 944S?  Dot3 ?

Any recommendations on brake fluid to use in my 944S would be appreciated.

I can't seem to find an exact spec in the manual.

Leave the DOT-3 to GM and Ford.  (And never, ever, use silicon-based DOT-5.)

Actually, Ford Heavy Duty brake fluid has a dry boiling point that is higher than ATE Blue.
Depneding on how often you change your fluid, it may actually be better.  (wet boiling point is
lower)  ATE is nice in that you get a can of Gold, and one of Blue and alternate.  That way
you know you have flushed the entire system.  Castrol SRF is very good, but with a price to
match, ~$73/liter.
