I'll be in Las vegas next month, and I would like to pick up some
parts to avoid shipping/customs fees. Where is a good source for parts
in/around Vegas?
(I looking for motor mounts primarily)

Why don't you just order them from one of the suppliers you can find online?
Vertex, Performance Products, Plican Parts, "The Parts Bin", quite a number
that will ship to your location and some even drop ship from locations close
to you so the shipping time is reduced. Your call.

Motor mounts for an 87 944 from Vertex are about $50 ea. Plus shipping of
aprox 15-20 and you total for two mounts will be about $120. Good luck.

cheapest price I've found for motor mounts is at importedcarparts.com - they
can ship to your hotel if that makes it convenient, so you can get them
while you are visiting.
