What do people put on thier rear spoilers and the black bumpers on 944's to
clean
then / make them shine etc.? Have tried Armoral and associated / similar
items
without much luck. Anyone have any suggestions??

I have a 1984 928 and I have had very good results
using Meguires rubber-vinyl cleaner protectant
(the one in the tan bottle) I forget what number it is.
I use it on my rear spoiler and chin spoiler, my bumpers
are painted :)

If your black trim is has gone grey, or has white wax marks, a cheap and
easy solution is liquid shoe polish - no, really! Only really works on
'textured' rubber black trim like the rear spoiler though. I've found it
more effective (and cheaper) than the 'back to black' type products from
motor factors.

Why don't you try Turtle wax Black Chrome?---seems to do the job.
