Hi,

I want to replace the outer front bearing on my 1988 944S.
Anyone has experience doing this work?

Anyone has replaced rear bushing? I hear a 'TOC" when turning or when
I start moving. The sound come from the back. I suspect two bushing
but I could not find the one that is causing the problem.

Any idea?

Thanks

Francois

I have 84 944.  May not be the same but you will need to knock the
race out of the wheel if you replace the bearing in front outside
bearings.

The rear wheel bearings are different on each side of the wheel.  So
you will need to purchase two sets.  I would recommend that you have
as shop do the rear wheels since it requires some massive torque on
the hub nut.
