This is what I have checked as of today with no success:
I made sure that all vacuum hoses are in good condition and are secure.
I bought a new idle control sensor, under the air intake or where the
throttle cable hooks up. Part should be in this week; it only cost $60.00
so I thought I would give it a try. I unhooked the wiring to the idle
sensor and nothing changed, so I thought this might be a hint of a
problem??
The air control valve was looked at: seems to be working all right. When
wiring cable is unhooked, car dies.
The one thing I did notice is when I disconnect the vacuum house on the
throttle (top hose), the problem goes away.
The large rubber part that goes from the air filter to throttle has been
replaced and is sealed well.
