18x8 rims

will 2003 carrera rims 18 x 8 fit my 944? anyone know?what rubber will i
have to put on them to make them fit if they will bolt up? any help
appreciated. TIA

NO,  well maybe, if your 944 came with 15" wheels as standard    you
will need tires no taller then 30% and at  least 245 to fit the rims..
also they will be too wide for the front without steering stops or
spacers  to keep from rubbing,

17" would be better

I have 17x7.5's and 245x40's and they still rub---not often just as you turn
in and the front starts to load---

YUP,  sure do...  fronts are 7" rims   the backs have all kinds of spce
so 8+ can go there but the fronts will need steering stops to prevent
rubbing in turns
