my '87 944 has a crazy vibration. it doesnt seem like the motor mounts are
bad cause it doesnt vibrate much sitting idle. only when accelerating and
when youre still at low speeds. i didnt actually look at the motor mounts,
so they could still be a problem. but other than that, what other things
should i look at. thanks.

You might try having the wheels re balanced, if you have the adhesive
wts. they have a nasty tendency to come off during hard cornering.

so, if it is the motor mounts, where would be a good place to buy them that
could possibly save some money over going straight to the dealer? if it is
the wheel weights, where would i go about having them re balanced? let me
know. thanks.

for motor mounts, search on line, lots of places offer them - I buy from
importedcarparts.com, but there are other choices. for weights, a good tire
store can check the balance
