Car Forum / Porsche / Porshe 944 / December 2004Reason why 944 won't run?
I'm not sure if it cranks over or not, but otherwise what are some reaons or problems why it would just shut off while driving it and not start again. If it cranks why, and if it doesn't crank over, why? That's my problem dme relay, fuel pump, crankshaft pos sensor, timing belt, fuel pressure, LV ignition wires, coil, ignition switch, battery/alternator, wiring, injectors, DME, TDC sensor, airflow sensor --- the list is nearly endless - you are asking why might a car not run - do some diagnostics, come back with some data and then ask your questions.
