hello everyone. i recently bought a 1983 944 thats in need of some
TLC. ive never messed with a porsche before, but i have restored a few
classic american cars.

the first problem with my new baby is the wiring harness. supposedly
there was a short rooting from the cigarette lighter?!?! BUT, the even
bigger problem is the previous owner has already tried to "fix" it.
this should be a lot of fun. hope you guys can be a help and vice
versa.

DL the porsche manual, follow the schematic.

NOTE!!! the cig lighter has a plastic element that is designed to melt and
short out the lighter if it overheats.  then the lighter fuse is supposed to
blow.
