run a compression check first, that will tell you a lot.
Compression showed good on all four, all equal

Try changing the plug and high tension lead on the bad cylinder.

and swap the injector with one of the other cylinders, see what happens

Did that too, swapped it with another car, this is driving me nuts, nothing
seems to solve this.

Could be a failed gasket on the intake to #2. Or a crack in the intake
allowing excess air in.

did you check the fuel pressure regulator vac diaphram could be leaking gas
into the intake not sure if thats it but i have seen it more than once to
fail just a thought

ok, now we are gaining on it - if you have equal compresson on all 4, and
it's reasonable, then you KNOW that valves, valve timing, and piston/rings
and head are all OK. So, what's left - not much beyond the injector and the
plug wires.
so, if it were me, I'd swap the #2 injector with another cylinder and see if
the problem persists. If yes, swap plug. If yes, replace plug wire

So, if you go through all of the above and it still runs rich on #2 you
are left with a failed or badly worn cam lobe on the intake valve.
