hey
i posted a few weeks ago about my car not starting after i washed the
engine off. i found that there was water in one of the spark plugs
somehow. after i dried it out, all was well. at least i though. i drove
the car for probably 2 weeks with no problems. then, it rained. i thought
nothing of it, being that the engine is under a hood. all i wanted to do
was park it in a different spot of the driveway. and alas, it would not
start. i havent really looked into it yet, but plan on it tomorrow. its
getting on my nerves cuz there really isnt any reason it should be acting
like that. any ideas on where to start first for finding a permanant
solution would be great. thanks in advance.

every time I've seen this - humidity related starting problems, it's been
associated with the high tension ignition sysem - that's where I'd start -
look for spark

Did you spray the inside of the HT boots with silicon oil as was
suggested?

i don tknow what happened. my dad was going to look at it and told me to
try starting it, and it started right up. it rained the night before
harder than it did the last time i tried to start it. i dont know what its
doing. and no, i havent sprayed that silicon stuff in yet. by the time i
get off work, its pretty late. i'll do it hopefully over the next weekend
when i possibly get to change the transmission oil. thanks again for the
suggestions.
