I have a 86 951.  I have heard that the expensive K&N air filter is
cleanable.  If so, what do you use to do it?
Thanks!

Hey they have a cleaning solution which may be soap and water not sure
just use their solution. Leave it in the sun and wait 4 it to dry.
Then spray both sides with the oil until both sides are red, they use
a dye in the oil.

If it is a wire mesh, and cotton type air filter, such as K&N filters, you
can buy a K&N filter recharge kit at the parts store for about 20 bucks.  Its
easy to use, and comes with complete instructions.
If it is a paper type filter, you need to replace it with either another
paper filter, or a K&N, or similar type cotton filter.
