Hey guyz tell me if I am crazy but I want to see if this will halp me
out at all. My car had been plagued with overheating issues which were
taken car of but in the mess I got a new water pump, 71* thermostat
and an identical fan switch. The problem I have is the fans never turn
off and the cooler the weather gets the warmer the engine runs, maybe
because of the stupid location of the thermostat in these cars. I
think the cool water is running over the thermostat and keeping it
only partially open thus raising engine temps. It’s not overheating
though. What I want to do is put in a stock 82*-77* Fan switch which
should keep the thermostat open all the time so the fans "should"
switch off every once in a while and keep the temp more stable. Or am
I retarded? What size in MM are the fan switches???

You might consider cleaning out the radiator vanes first by blowing
compressed air back through the radiator and AC condensor. A lot of
crud builds up and restricts the flow of air. It solved my overheating
problems.

Ya that helped me too. I replaced the Fan Switch with the stock one
and it will cycle on and off now. Thanks.
