A guy at work claims that Porsche uses the Subaru Boxer engine as a
replacement engine on the Boxster.
Is there any truth to that ?
I find it hard to believe and could not verify it using Google.

I've heard that the cylinder layout is similar, but I don't think
that's any more significant than two cars both having V8s, for example.
