HELP: 944 third brake light mounting

Hi,

I have a 1984 Porsche 944. The previous owner installed hte thrid brake
light kit. However, he removed it from the glass and now I must remount it.
Does anyone know where I can get the original mounting strip that comes with
the brake light? Alternatively, does anyone know where I can find BLACK
double sided tape (brand/product name)? Thanks.

I've never seen black, Target has grey 3M outdoor tape (has a red protective
cover on it). We use it to glue back on the GTI's trim all the time as it
gets a bit too much in the snow and such...
