Q. for winter storage - about 4-5 months - does everyone/anyone recommend using gas stabilizer? Do you then remove the old gas from the car in spring (how?) or just burn it? Thanks. i always use stabilizer, it's cheaper than having to redo any of the fuel system cause it got gummed up! then in the spring i just burn off the gas. all stabalizer does is keep the octane rating from dropping over time, so it's quite safe. > Q. for winter storage - about 4-5 months - does everyone/anyone recommend using gas stabilizer?
