How to clean egg crate foam?

We have had an egg crate foam pad on our mattress since day one... and over
time it absorbs odors (e.g, wood smoke).  Any ideas on how to clean one of
these things?

They are so cheap, I'd just go to Wal-Mart & buy new. They'll support
better also.
