Hi Gang,
I noticed something  today, after finally getting my work done and
scheduled some time for pop up camping  I noticed that when i crank up
I don't hear the "clicking" sound of the ratchet  catching the winch.
I hope that this is not going to be a big headache   ...  I've already
ordered  3 new wheels(will be in this week, along with my NYS
inspection)  I spent  alot of time/money in my local  pop up shop  in
the last few days  along with the prodigy i just wired...NOW  WHAT AM
I IN FOR? Has anyone heard of this before?  remedy?
Guess i have to go back to shop yet again!
 thanks.

It doesn't have to be unless you are pulling out TONIGHT.

It is possible that they serviced the lift system which may make it *MUCH*
quieter than in the past.

Carefully raise the roof as usual and see how it goes.  A couple of raising
and lowering cycles in your driveway might reveal a problem, if any.

Of course, you should discuss this with those that performed the recent
service.

Good luck!

No. I'm not pulling out tonight...Well not untill i install my new
tires  all 3 of them....I thought my tires  were all ok until i
noticed the valves  showing some minor rot/cracking....
good thing i noticed  before i got stuck somewhere..
thanks Jim.. I will take your advice..

I have some good news-for those who want to hear it...
I decided look into my winch to see if it really was no good.
upon further inspection I see that my winch is based on the same
principal as my boat winch,So i looked for the "catch" I found it to
be frozenSo after a few shots of "Whiskey Delta" 40(WD-40) she broke
free and we are back in business...
thanks for all the replies
Now for some new tires, and then some camping..
