I've been away from this newsgroup for ages, and have so much to read
to catch up.
Due to family circumstances, we haven't been able to go camping for the
last 2 seasons. :( As a result, we just opened up our pop-up for the
first time a couple weeks ago. We'd closed up & weatherproofed it when
we last closed it up, but upon opening it, we discovered massive rodent
damage. Several screens have been chewed, the canvas is stained on one
bunk end with god-knows-what, and a large hole has been chewed in that
same bunk mattress.
Given that we won't be going out this season, I'm thinking that I'll
put it away for the winter & repair the damage in the spring.
Does anyone have any suggestions for rodent-proofing a pop-up?
Thanks for any suggestions!

I got a mean half crazy one-eyed cat. No rodents of any kind. He
tracks 'em pretty good with the one eye.

The mothballs work well but for those that don't like the smell use cotton
balls soaked with peppermint oil. Get 3 or 4 baby food jars - wash them out
real good and place 2 - 4 cotton balls soaked with peppermint oil in them
and place in storage compartments, living areas, where ever. Keeps
varmints/insects out and smells good when you open the unit up - unles you
don't like peppermint. :-/
