Hmmm.
I just bought a 2000 Kiwi 23c. I've been drooling over that particular
design ever since they came out. I pick it up Tuesday evening.

I'm sure i'll have many questions, but one that's got me going at the
moment; where's the spare tire go? Mine apparently doesn't have one. I
assume it's an option.

Not sure about the Kiwi, but lots of trailers consider a spare to be
optional equipment...one reason is to keep the price low, another is to
keep the weight low...
Low prices are attractive... then the salesmen can tell you it's light
enough to be towed by whatever you're driving at the moment...
Spare tire, a/c, awning, propane tanks, batteries and sometimes even
screw jacks are "optional" equipment...

That's the funny part; It's got everything else.
I note it does have a receiver on the back, pesumably to mount bikes and
whatnot on a rack made for mounting on a standard receiver. Question;
Does anyone know of a spare tire rack to mount on the std reciver?

You should be able to find one pretty easily, they are a common item.
There's a local bike shop here that sells several different models.  I'd
suggest a place like that to at least look first to know what's out there.

In my TT, the spare was located in the front storage area.  I just
recently (after 5 years with the trailer) removed it from the storage
area and moved it under the bunk bed, which was a lost storage area.
it now gives me more place to store other stuff in the front storage.

You can also buy parts so that you can locate the spare under the A
frame, in front of the trailer.  My friend has a SunLine TT and this is
where his spare is located.

Mel, were you at Fort Wildernes in August?
We saw a blue Ram hemi and Prowler Lynx with QC plates on our loop at 1717.
The combination sounded familiar.

I checked their web site and the new 23's come with a spare tire so it
sounds like it is in their some where unless the previous owner...
